"Acacia Ark and Reading Table"
Congregation Beth Am
Los Altos Hills, Califonria
In the fully closed configuration, the Aron Hakodesh is hidden behind the two rolling stained glass doors. By opening the rolling doors, the acacia-wood Ark is revealed and the multi-purpose room becomes a sanctuary
The lower compartment of the Ark opens to access the collapsible Torah-reading Table stored within The matching acacia-wood reading table rolls out and unfolds for worship
This Aron Hakodesh of stained glass and acacia-wood is unique, in that it's different configurations allow the room to be used for both worship and secular activities.
