Below, images of the Torah Reading Table show its various features

Torah Table

Torah Reading Table rear view
Front-Left View of Torah Reading Table, showing the inlaid ebony squares, on the legs, which echo the design of the twelve gems on the Aron Hakodesh. Rear view of the Torah Reading Table with "Gabi's drawer," partially open. Rear of the Torah Table is flush so as to aid in lifting the Torah after reading. A one half inch stop on the back edge of the table retards the Torah from sliding. The table top is inclined at an angle of one degree. Two drawers in the back provide storage for notes and papers.

Shape of the table top, including the notched arch, relate to the arch above the Aron.

This view of the table emphasizes the plexiglas cover which protects the table top from scratching from Torah ornaments. Locking casters are concealed in the table legs.
